ToyFest returns April 14–16, 2027, with more than 500 manufacturers and shared access to The Reunion’s souvenir and gift show floor.

ToyFest 2027 puts toy buying and complementary gift sourcing under one roof, with a three-day Las Vegas event scheduled for April 14–16 at The Expo at World Market Center. Its new co-location with The Reunion broadens the range of suppliers attendees can meet, while the show’s established focus on specialty toy retail remains central.

Produced by the Western Toy & Hobby Representatives Association (WTHRA), ToyFest has connected specialty toy retailers, manufacturers and sales representatives for nearly 65 years. The 2027 edition keeps that trade network at its core and adds access to a second event serving souvenir, gift and resort markets.
For buyers planning assortments, the appeal is practical: they can compare products, talk directly with suppliers and explore categories that may sit alongside toys in their stores. ToyFest is promoting participation from more than 500 manufacturers and thousands of products, spanning games, educational merchandise, STEM, infant and toddler products, books, hobbies, gifts, novelties and traditional toys.

A broader buying floor
The Reunion is focused on the souvenir, gift and resort sectors. ToyFest and The Reunion share retail audiences that include specialty stores, museums, zoos, aquariums, theme parks and resorts. Together, the events are expected to offer more than 300 booths across complementary merchandise categories.
Attendees of either event can access the full show floor. That arrangement gives buyers a chance to look at toys, games, gifts and souvenir products in one trip, and may be especially useful for retailers whose shelves already extend beyond traditional toys. Instead of treating adjacent categories as a separate sourcing project, they can meet those suppliers alongside toy vendors.
The published figures describe the scale and scope of the shows; they don’t guarantee that every buyer will find a fit for their store. The value will depend on each retailer’s assortment, customer base and plans for the coming season. Still, a shared floor creates room to make comparisons in person and ask suppliers about the products directly.
Supplier conversations and show activities
Digital catalogs and online ordering make it easier to review products remotely, but ToyFest is built around face-to-face business. Retailers can discuss product lines with manufacturers and sales representatives, reconnect with existing contacts and meet prospective suppliers. Show specials also give buyers another reason to speak with vendors and place orders during the event.
The schedule reaches beyond the exhibit floor. ToyFest Game Night, Morning Masterpieces craft sessions, educational programming and the annual ToyFest Hall of Fame celebration offer additional ways for attendees to connect. The Hall of Fame event recognizes members of the toy industry. These gatherings add a social and educational dimension to the buying trip, while keeping the focus on people and products across the trade.
For exhibitors and independent retailers
Manufacturers and sales representatives can use the event to present product lines to retail buyers from across the United States, meet potential accounts and maintain existing customer relationships. WTHRA, a nonprofit organization, produces ToyFest with the objective of fostering business relationships among manufacturers, representatives and independent retailers.
The venue adds another element for exhibitors and buyers: World Market Center includes participating permanent showrooms. That gives attendees an additional setting for exploring products and conducting business during their visit.

Qualified buyers can attend ToyFest free of charge. The three-day event also includes buyer raffles, seminars, show specials and hands-on product experiences. For an independent retailer, those elements can help make a buying trip useful across several tasks: finding new vendors, reviewing products, considering categories that complement an existing assortment and building supplier relationships.
The show’s value will ultimately come down to the conversations and products that match each business’s needs. The 2027 format gives attendees a larger field to explore by combining the toy show with The Reunion, while preserving ToyFest’s long-running connection to specialty toy retail.
