Marvel Legends Yondu Figure Brings His Classic Comics Look to a 6-Inch Collectible

Yondu’s defining gear comes together in Hasbro’s new 6-inch Marvel Legends Series figure: a bow, quiver and yaka arrow, paired with colors and design details inspired by the character’s classic Marvel Comics appearance. The figure is based on the comics version of Yondu, giving collectors a distinct take on the Centaurian rather than a design identified with a screen adaptation.

MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES YONDUGUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY FIGURE

Hasbro lists the figure at approximately $24.99, for ages 4 and up, with pre-orders planned for Spring 2023 exclusively at Target. Those details give collectors the key points to track: the character’s comic-inspired design, the included accessories, the stated scale and price, and the planned retailer and ordering window. No specific day for the start of pre-orders is provided.

Three accessories built around Yondu’s signature weapon

The set includes the figure and three accessories: a bow, a quiver and a yaka arrow. Together, they reflect the equipment associated with this version of Yondu and give the figure a recognizable setup for display. The source describes the arrow as sound-responsive, connecting the accessory to the character’s abilities in the story.

That equipment helps distinguish the release within a Guardians of the Galaxy display. A collector can present Yondu with his bow and arrow, or keep the accessories alongside the figure when arranging a different pose. The announcement lists the pieces included, but doesn’t specify alternate hands, additional heads or other interchangeable parts. Collectors comparing listings will want to check the final product details for any further information before ordering.

The figure is described as being in 6-inch scale. That gives collectors a useful reference when planning shelf space or grouping the release with other figures, though the source doesn’t provide the figure’s precise height or describe its articulation points. Hasbro frames the Marvel Legends Series around premium detail and articulation for posing and display; no specific articulation breakdown for Yondu is included here.

A comics-inspired version of the character

The character description places Yondu Udonta 1,000 years in the future, where he joins the Guardians of the Galaxy and uses his bow and sound-responsive yaka arrows against the Badoon empire. That premise gives the accessories a clear story connection and identifies the release with the classic comics version of the team. The announcement specifically calls out the figure’s deco as inspired by Yondu’s classic appearance in Marvel Comics.

For collectors, that distinction matters when building a character shelf around multiple interpretations of the same figure. This release is presented as a comics-inspired Yondu, so the source’s clearest identification points are the classic comic design and the included bow, quiver and yaka arrow. It doesn’t describe a particular comic issue or provide a more specific design reference, so those details shouldn’t be inferred from the product description alone.

Pre-order details to keep on hand

Hasbro gives Spring 2023 as the pre-order period and Target as the exclusive retailer. The listed approximate retail price is $24.99. Since the information names a season rather than a date, collectors should look for a more precise start time from the retailer before making plans to place an order. The source doesn’t state a shipping date, production quantity or whether the figure will be available after the pre-order window.

The practical checklist is straightforward: confirm the product name, verify that the listing is for the comics-inspired Yondu figure, and check that its included accessories match the stated bow, quiver and yaka arrow. The listed price is approximate, so the retailer’s product page is the place to confirm the final amount and ordering details when pre-orders open.

With its comic-based deco and weapon set, this release gives Guardians of the Galaxy collectors a clearly defined version of Yondu for a Marvel Legends display. The next details to watch are the exact pre-order date and the retailer’s final product listing, which can clarify availability and any specifications beyond those supplied here.
